Why I Use Article Marketing In My Promotions
Of all the methods described to advertise online today, I don’t think there is any that has the benefits that article marketing can provide. Yet, many don’t use it and cannot understand why they are not succeeding online.
Here are just a few of the benefits:
First, it’s free. You can’t get much better than that. You can post your article to a few of the more popular article directories and see what happens. OR, you can join an article directories submission system and get your article sent to hundreds of directories at one time. In many cases, it is not free, but it is an awesome and cost effective way to get your articles sent out.
It’s viral. Now when I say this, it means that your article can spread to other readers without you having to lift a finger. How? Each person who wants to use your article must take the entire article including the “About The Author” box. It is this box that will contain some information about you and a link to your site.
When these people use your article they are spreading it to other readers. These readers can,in turn, pick up your article and use it to send to their readers, etc. Get the idea? It can go on and on. The traffic benefits can be amazing.
You can establish yourself as an expert in whatever field you are writing about. Keep in mind that you can build your reputation by writing good quality articles. This comes from researching your subject and providing good information on it.
Another point to remember is your article must not be a sales letter. It needs to contain valuable information that your readers can use. Sales letters will only be ignored and, in most cases, will not be added to article directories.
A Final point, for now, is that each article contains a back link to your site. As mentioned before, the more your articles spread, the more back links your site will have. The more back links you have, the more potential traffic you can get. The more quality articles written, the better. It can even help with your search engine rankings.
